LOS OTROS SOMOS NOSOTRAS
Curated by Marta Valea for the first edition of Madrid Design Festival, the exhibition brought together Andrea Santamarina and Verónica Mar in a dialogue around drawing, objecthood and feminine identity.
Starting from drawing as a shared language and creative process, the project explored how a line can move from the two-dimensional into objects that inhabit space — crossing art, design and sculpture while questioning the conventional boundaries of each discipline.

4TH EDITION · MATERNA Y HERENCIA · THE HOME OF AN IMAGINARY COLLECTOR
For the fourth edition of HOME, Casa, HOME, Marta Valea transformed the Materna y Herencia gallery into the home of an imaginary collector — a lived environment where art, design, furniture and collectible objects coexist beyond traditional exhibition boundaries.
Rather than presenting works in isolation, the exhibition created a domestic narrative in which every piece became part of a wider cultural and emotional landscape, inviting visitors to experience collecting as a way of shaping identity and transforming the spaces we inhabit.

CONNECTION
THE INVISIBLE THREAD OF MEDITERRANEAN SENSATIONS
Curated by Marta Valea for Gandia Blasco Group within Madrid Design Festival 2025, CONNECTION transformed the Madrid flagship into a curatorial landscape where art, design and contemporary craft converged around the Mediterranean as culture, materiality and a way of living.
An invisible thread connected 19 creators, objects, materials and disciplines, challenging conventional boundaries and using space itself as a narrative device to explore how objects can carry identity, memory and emotion.

CerARTmic MADRID · GESTURE, TRACE AND SCULPTURAL MATTER
Presented by Caotics at CerARTmic Madrid, Gesto y Huella formed part of Marta Valea’s curatorial approach to the collectible object as a space of dialogue between art, design and contemporary craft.
The project brought together works by Marta Lorca and Laura de Lorenzo / Crespottery in a material conversation around gesture and trace: form as expansion and surface as memory. Through two distinct sculptural languages, the presentation explored how matter can hold both action and imprint.
